Fixed right, by the person you called
Not every problem calls for new equipment. A lot of what we do is repair: getting the hot water back on, getting the heat running, stopping a leak, clearing a drain. When you call Allan Feid Jr, Allan answers, Allan shows up, and Allan does the work. No dispatcher, no trainee, no upsell.
We are a licensed and bonded New Jersey plumbing and heating contractor (NJ Master Plumber License #7052) and we service all makes and models, whether or not we installed them.

Annual service keeps small problems small
The cheapest repair is the one you never need. A fall boiler tune-up and a periodic water heater check catch worn parts, sediment and venting issues before they become a no-heat call in January or a flooded basement. If you want us to look over your system once a year, call and we will get you on the schedule.
Honest advice on repair versus replacement
Our rule of thumb: a water heater under 8 years old or a boiler under 20 is usually worth repairing. Past that, we weigh the repair cost against the age and condition of the unit and tell you what we would do in our own house. If replacement is the better answer, see our water heater replacement and boiler replacement pages.
We serve Livingston, Millburn, Roseland and East Hanover, NJ.
